I’m assuming you’re referring to cutting edge graphics so Official Hit The Road With A Good Book Shirt something like cyberpunk or what have you. Personally I’ve always preferred stylized art styles over graphic power showcases. For that, I think the Zelda series has always focused on creating their world rather than trying to look realistic. I mean wind waker didn’t need to be remade as the dog still looks stunning. Dark souls 2 have terrible human character models. But the environment and enemy design are so unique. And intricate and the game’s systems are so fascinating they carry the day.

As for the games which haven’t aged well or weren’t that great looking at launch. I think Skyrim is the game to beat in that category. While not my cup of tea it’s undeniably one of the most prolific games of the last 15 years and hard to snub its legacy. That being said I do like fallout new vegas so Official Hit The Road With A Good Book Shirt so much and that game looks terrible. It’s visually everything wrong which the ps3 and Xbox generation. It’s brown and uses bloom way too often yet still is too dark but the world is so well-realized. And the characters are so rich with a role-playing system that is hard to beat in mind that all that quickly fades away. It also runs like crap.
