As a tall guy who has always lived with unexpected midriff, this is one of the few tees I own that allows me to cover my equatorial areas. Despite what I saw on other reviews, the shirt did not disintegrate or shrink on wash; despite being washed on hot by my wife, it didn’t shrink at all.
It’s comfortable and breathable, and my only complaint is the Dickies logo sewn onto the button: it’s difficult to remove, and its stitches are actually structural so if you don’t want to wear their branding you’ll need to sew the inner pocket tab back down after removal.

A solid shirt…nothing fancy. They fit and seem like they’ll last if you take care of them. I’m a full time student and on a limited budget. I just need some shirts to get me through a year or so and I’ve had good experience with this brand for a while now. They continue to put out decent product for a decent price. I would suggest you watch which model of shirt you get and where it’s from. I’ve read other reviews which mention that depending on where the Dickies label is attached, determines the quality of the shirt. These in particular seem to be made of thick cotton and wear very well, from what I’ve seen so far.

Started off good but after a few washes the shirt shrunk. I buy dickies 2xlt from Walmart and they don’t shrink like this did.

I love these shirts. I now own around 12 in various darker colors. They are great fitting and nicely made. The material is indeed thicker than usual, yet not heavy or stifling in heat. They do have two problems, however: 1) The colors fade, and some of them do so very quickly. Gray seems to hold up best. Green and brown are losing a lot of color saturation with every single wash. 2) These things are oil STAIN MAGNETS. You may not notice anything while wearing them or doing the laundry, but later, it’s not uncommon to take a “clean” one off the hanger and notice a few spots, then throw it right into the hamper. None of my other shirts do this, from cheap 100% cotton tees to poly blends.
For both of these problems, I’m only knocking off one star because I really do love these shirts otherwise. There must be something that other manufacturers are doing to protect their fabric, but Dickies is not. For now, I’m keeping a bottle of
Grandma’s Secret GS7001 Laundry Spray, 16-Ounce
near the washing machine. I’ve found it works fairly well. Usually.

I’m not into pocket tshirts, but being tall, sometimes you can’t be picky. I saw this shirt for 9 dollars and it came in tall, so I decided to try it out. I am almost 6’3″ 215lbs and this shirt fits perfectly. The length is great, but the width is a little more athletic or slim. A lot of tall shirts are just too wide. This Large Tall is a typical large with longer sleeves and overall length. It is hard to find even medium weight cotton shirts anymore, so this being a great fit and heavyweight cotton is bonus. I highly recommend this shirt.
