I think the Nice And Then Satan Said Here Have Feelings Shirt is perspective. The personal legacy of MJ and Prince are (temporarily, IMO) outshining the musical legacy. U2 as well, Bono’s ego is bigger than any hit they’ve had in recent memory. GNR, lol, Axel. The personalities are all too fresh (or current) to appreciate the music alone. As a 40-something, I have to strongly disagree with this comment. It was normal to the point of being required for different groups of kids to like some styles of music and absolutely hate on other styles. So YES – any artist or group who was popular in the ’80s had some group of teens who trashed them endlessly and thought them a total waste.
Nice And Then Satan Said Here Have Feelings Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Ladies Tee For Men And Women

The guys in my H.S. who liked Nice And Then Satan Said Here Have Feelings Shirt metal wouldn’t be caught dead with a Michael Jackson tape, the kids who liked Depeche Mode wouldn’t listen to Def Leppard, etc. Music was a big part of how you identified yourself and found (possibly) people to hang with either from your shared love or your brotherhood of detestment for a particular artist or type of music. That being said, anything could become annoying if it were hyped enough. e.g. You might have loved “Fight for your Right” until they started playing it every 15 minutes, every day, all day. Songs would roll in, become “hits”, and then wear out their welcome. (e.g. ‘Ice-Ice-Baby’, ‘Sister Christian’, ‘One Night in Bangkok.
Official Nice And Then Satan Said Here Have Feelings Sweatshirt, Hoodie

As an (alleged) Nice And Then Satan Said Here Have Feelings Shirt -up, I can look back at some of the artists I couldn’t stand in the ’80s and see them in a much better light. Some of it is that I learned to like what I like and not care what anyone else might think of it. But some is that I hear the music with a different perspective and find myself enjoying it for the same reasons other folks did “back in the day. It boggles my mind that people get so worked up over these ridiculous award shows. Ever since they’ve been in existence, they’ve been nothing but masturbatory aids for the music industry, and they’ve done nothing but reward the groups that have sold the most albums. They’re just popularity contests. Who cares who wins? It doesn’t make the music good or bad.
