I’ve played the Official Legends Are Born In April Shirt. Unit/color/skill combinations that you can find for all sorts of situations. I love the series and this game, and my luck wasn’t so bad so I’ve always felt like I could live with the power creep. Then the Sutr banner happened. This felt like a power leap for me. I went into the arena trying to get my Tier 21 as usual, and then I ran into a Sutr sitting on a defense tile. She could not do ANYTHING to him, every single unit I had, 3 of them +10 (No armor slayer, never really needed it because. He wanted the bonus unit to get kills), and nobody on my team can do more than 0 damage to the guy.

For the Official Legends Are Born In April Shirt. They actually released a unit ridiculous enough that I didn’t feel like even trying. I enjoyed the game for its challenges, the infernals, the multimap battles, the constant tweaks and optimizations to hit high tier arena against whales, and suddenly there was this 1 unit that nullifies everything I’ve built to this point. Not to mention that, if you want to bait him, you have to take that stupid AoE then tank him once or twice depending on his B-skill. It reduces the number of ways you can deal with him far too much.

IS just can’t seem to find game modes that are genuinely fun and rewarding. There’s an argument to be made that every new game mode since TT has been a bust in regards to growing the potential of the game. But what about Aether Raids? I think we’re rapidly approaching the Official Legends Are Born In April Shirt. It’s a step in the right direction but is critically broken in many ways. There are some that appreciate that, but many others get bored from “just events” and weekly gameplay that is wrapped up in 10 minutes.
